everyone, I hope this finds you all well, fit and rested. Spring is finally
here and it’s time to get busy. So much has happened at Evans Turf over the
past 12 months I hardly know where to begin.
The
Simplot products have gone from strength to strength and are by far the best
performing and diverse product range that we have been lucky enough to
distribute. Virtually every turf situation is covered from inexpensive
homogeneous standard release for all heights of cut through to industry leading
slow release fertilisers such as Turf Gold for safe long lasting nutrition.
Possibly
the most impressive part of our Simplot range is the selection of liquid
fertilisers. Greenmaxx has led the way with its almost freakish ability to quickly
produce a deep green and more importantly “natural” colour. In fact we are so
impressed by the success and popularity of this product we are setting up the
Greenmaxx Club, which will be a web based initiative where all Greenmaxx Club
members can post pictures, discuss the issues of the day and receive
invitations to take part in Greenmaxx promotions and functions.
There
is no huge purchasing requirement; an order of only 20Lt of Greenmaxx is all it
takes for you to join. We would encourage you to sign up with your Evans Turf
Representative or contact us via our web site.
Evans
Turf Supplies have recently taken on the David Golf distributorship for NZ and
to show our commitment to this high quality range of products we have
established David Golf NZ which will run as a separate business unit and be
managed by Ray Moffat. Ray will be doing his best over the next few months to
ensure he calls on all of you, however this is a colossal challenge and if you
have any product requirements in the mean time please give him a call on 021
719 080.
We
are also lucky to have Andrew Lloyd join the team in September. Andrew comes to
us with an appreciation of both green keeping and business after being AGCSA
apprentice of the year in 2008 and also having a stint with Fruitfed Supplies
where he became aware of the “other side” of the industry and how it works.
Andrew has already fitted into the company extremely well and I am sure he will
become well known to all of you over the coming months.
